The Winter Solstice Ball

The Winter Solstice Ball is my personal favorite holiday novella. Set on the coast of Maine at a grand seaside resort hotel, the son of the ailing CEO is summoned home. He immediately crosses swords with the young, energetic Events Planner who has grand ideas how to revive the ailing resort and turn it into a money maker once more. While his father adores Lydia Windsor, Seth Sheridan finds her annoying, too full of outrageous and costly ideas. While he gets himself into hot water with his parents and Lydia, she fights to get approval from the Board of Directors for her vision of the revival of the Winter Solstice Ball complete with a full week's agenda of other holiday activities and events. Seth doesn't believe Lydia and her two assistants can pull off such a major undertaking in such a short period of time. Will she be able to, if allowed to try?
